Bengaluru: As many as 1.5 lakh traffic violation cases were settled Saturday, the first day of the 50% discount offer on pending fines imposed through e-challans.The discount will be offered until Sept 12. A traffic police press note stated that by 7pm Saturday, a total fine of Rs 4.2 crore was paid in connection with 1.5 lakh violation cases reported across the city.According to sources, over 3 crore traffic violation cases reported in the city since 2019 have been pending and their fine amount is around Rs 1,100 crore.Where to pay fine* Payment can be made through Karnataka state police (KSP) app or BTP ASTraM app* Payments can also be made by providing your vehicle registration number at the nearest traffic police station or at the Traffic Management Centre (Infantry Road)* Details can be obtained and payment made on the Karnataka One/Bangalore One websites
