1. Use of the App

Public Samachar is a local news platform for Karnataka. You may browse news, watch videos, and (if registered as a reporter) upload news content.

2. Reporter Content

By uploading a video or article, you confirm that:

• You have the right to share this content
• The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• The content does not violate any law or infringe on others’ rights

3. Prohibited Content

You may not upload content that:

• Is false, defamatory, or intentionally misleading
• Incites violence or hatred
• Violates any person’s privacy or safety
• Infringes copyright or intellectual property
• Is sexually explicit or inappropriate

4. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms, and to flag or verify reporter accounts as part of our content quality process.

5. Comments

Comments are open to all users. Abusive, hateful, or spam comments will be removed. Repeated violations may result in restricted access.

6. Intellectual Property

Content you upload remains yours, but by uploading you grant Public Samachar the right to display, distribute, and promote it within the app and on our website.

7. Disclaimer

News content is submitted by independent citizen reporters. Public Samachar makes reasonable efforts to verify content but does not guarantee complete accuracy of all user-submitted news.

8. Limitation of Liability

Public Samachar is provided “as is”. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the app or reliance on its content.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Karnataka.
