Armed forces, police, home guards, and school students in Bengaluru began preparations for the 79th Independence Day celebrations with a full dress rehearsal at the Field Marshal Manekshaw Parade Ground.
Highlights of the rehearsal included a march by the Karnataka Special Reserve Police (KSRP), a police dog squad display, and contingents from the BSF and local schools, showcasing precision and patriotism ahead of the August 15 celebrations. However, unexpected rains brought the practice to an early halt.
