Bengaluru: Four college students have been arrested for attacking their juniors who refused to accept their hazing.Mohammed Fardin, Mohammed Afan, Mohammed Rayan, and Sameer M, who are pursuing degree courses at Al Ameen College, Hosur Road, were arrested after another student, Babur Rayan Pasha, filed a police complaint against them. Cops are looking out for seven other students. The fight initially broke out Tuesday on the college premises between the accused and a student, identified as Afreed. The accused tried to haze Afreed, who opposed them. The accused students insisted that the juniors had to obey them, according to the complaint. Armed with machetes and other sharp weapons, the accused traced Afreed and Pasha to a ground near the college. They attacked Afreed for not respecting them and disagreeing with their diktat. Afreed managed to escape and ran to his house. The accused then hit Pasha’s hand with a machete and left. The student was admitted to Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences for treatment.
