The 195-run stand between Mostary and Sultana became Bangladesh’s highest partnership for any wicket in women’s ODI cricket. The duo surpassed the previous record of 152 runs, which Sultana and Sharmin Akhter had registered for the third wicket against Thailand in 2025.The partnership also established a new benchmark against Australia in women’s ODIs, eclipsing the previous record of 170 runs. New Zealand’s Emily Drumm and Rebecca Rolls had held that record with their second-wicket stand in 2002.Mostary’s landmark innings ended in the 48th over when Megan Schutt bowled her for 118.
