Bengaluru: The directorate of enforcement (ED), Bengaluru zonal office, provisionally attached four immovable properties, including residential/commercial land and buildings worth Rs 8 crore, of B Nagendra, MLA of Ballari Rural and former minister. This action was taken under provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, in a case related to misappropriation and diversion of funds from Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation (KMVSTDCL).
