Vijayapura: Two youth were murdered in Kannur village in Vijayapura taluk on Sunday night. The deceased are Sagar Belundagi, 25, and Isaq Qureshi, 24. They were found murdered by boulders on the outskirts of the village. Vijayapura Rural police visited the village and suspected that an old rivalry was the reason for the offence. Both deceased were accused in the assault case of Iranagouda, who succumbed to injuries two years ago. Now, police suspect that Iranagouda’s associates might have murdered the deceased. However, it can be ascertained only after investigation, police said.
