Hubballi: A fight over a girl resulted in two people being stabbed with a radium cutter. The injured were admitted to KMC RI Hospital on Monday night.Abhishek Bandivaddar and Maruti Bandivaddar are those stabbed in the incident occurred late on Monday night near a private college in Vidyanagar. Pavan and Manikantha from Deshpande Nagar were both in love with the same girl, because of which they fought frequently.When the argument intensified on Monday, Pavan took Abhishek and Maruti with him. When the fight escalated, the opponents attempted to attack Pavan. Abhishek and Maruti were attacked with a radium cutter when they intervened to stop the fight.Vidyanagar police said the injured were admitted to KMC RI Hospital. “All those involved in the incident are students. Manikantha, Manoj, Subrahmanya, Anup, Prajwal, Shankar, and Abhay have been arrested. We have registered a case, and investigating it,” they added.
