Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University has extended participation in its ongoing online counselling process for admission to 11 academic programmes until June 22. The university has also announced a series of offline counselling rounds for selected programmes, including the Master of Public Health (MPH) programme and nine other courses.According to the university, candidates seeking admission to the notified programmes can complete counselling-related activities, including registration, document submission and choice filling, within the prescribed schedule. Separate timelines have also been issued for national-level test-based and Common Entrance Test (CET)-based admissions.Online counselling continues for 11 programmesThe counselling process covers Master of Laws (LLM), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (BA LLB), Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws (BBA LLB), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Integrated Bachelor of Business Administration-Master of Business Administration (BBA-MBA), Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (BA JMC), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), Bachelor of Education (Special Education), Four-Year Bachelor of Arts English (Honours) and Four-Year Bachelor of Arts Economics (Honours).Admissions to LLM will be based on the Common Law Admission Test for Postgraduate Programmes (CLAT PG), while admissions to BA LLB and BBA LLB will be conducted through the Common Law Admission Test for Undergraduate Programmes (CLAT UG). Admission to B.Tech programmes will be based on Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) Paper-1 scores. Online registration for these programmes will remain open until June 22.Candidates can upload category certificates and other required documents, fill programme preferences and edit submitted forms until June 23. For CET-based programmes, fresh online registration is not available, although other counselling facilities remain accessible.Offline counselling for nine programmes from June 29The university will begin offline counselling on June 29 for Bachelor of Science (Yoga), Master of Science (Yoga), Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Medicine and Paramedicos, Master of Arts in Economics, Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance and Counselling, Bachelor in Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Bachelor of Arts Liberal Arts, Master of Science Packaging Technology and Bachelor of Science Packaging.A detailed counselling schedule for these programmes will be released on June 22.Master of Public Health counselling on June 25The first offline counselling session for admission to the Master of Public Health programme will be held on June 25 at the Dwarka campus. Seats will be allotted on the same day after document verification and merit assessment.Candidates who qualified in the entrance examination for the programme are eligible to participate. Applicants must carry a bank draft of Rs 60,000 in favour of the University Registrar, four passport-size photographs, CET admit card, rank card, online application form and supporting documents. The programme, offered at the National Centre for Disease Control affiliated with the university, has 20 seats. Candidates may cancel an allotted seat until July 1.
