TN SSLC result 2026: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, is expected to announce the Tamil Nadu SSLC result 2026 tomorrow, May 20, 2026.Once released, students who appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 10 board examinations will be able to check and download their provisional marksheets through the official website, tnresults.nic.in, and DigiLocker.Although the board has not officially confirmed the result declaration time, reports suggest that the results may be announced around 9:30 am.Students are advised to keep their registration number and date of birth ready to avoid delays while checking the results online.The provisional marksheet will contain subject-wise marks, total score, pass status, and other important details related to the examination.

TN SSLC result 2026: Exam details

The Tamil Nadu Class 10 board examinations were conducted from March 11 to April 6, 2026, in offline mode at various examination centres across the state.The examinations were held in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm. Students were also given an additional 15 minutes before the exam to read the question paper and plan their answers.

How to download Tamil Nadu Class 10 marksheet from DigiLocker

Students can also access their digital marksheets through DigiLocker by following these steps:

  • Visit DigiLocker Results Portal or open the DigiLocker app
  • Sign in using the registered mobile number or Aadhaar credentials
  • New users must complete the registration process first
  • Go to the “Education” or “Results” section on the homepage
  • Select Tamil Nadu Board from the list of boards
  • Click on “SSLC Result 2026”
  • Enter the required details such as roll number and year of passing
  • Click on submit
  • Download and save the provisional digital marksheet for future reference

Last year, the Tamil Nadu board declared the SSLC results on May 16 and recorded an overall pass percentage of 93.80 per cent.A total of 9,13,036 students appeared for the examination in 2025. Girls performed better than boys, recording a pass percentage of 95.88 per cent, while boys secured 91.74 per cent.In 2024, the overall pass percentage stood at 91.55 per cent, with more than 8.18 lakh students qualifying the examination successfully.After the declaration of results, students will also be able to check updates regarding revaluation, supplementary examinations, and original marksheet distribution through official Tamil Nadu board portals.
