AP SSC result 2026: The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh is expected to announce the AP SSC result 2026 declaration date tomorrow after 8:30 pm, according to developments linked to the ongoing result process. The expected announcement will pertain only to the result date and timing, while the Class 10 results themselves are not scheduled for release tomorrow.The development comes amid continued uncertainty over the AP SSC result schedule after the School Education Department earlier rejected claims of an April 27 declaration, calling those reports false and misleading. Officials have maintained that only an authorised announcement will confirm when students can access their marks memos.A board official, on condition of anonymity, said, “the results will not be declared before April 30, 2026, and the result date is expected to be announced only after 8:30 pm on April 28,” told TNN.Students await official word on declaration scheduleMore than 6.40 lakh candidates are awaiting the next official update from BSEAP. This year, 6,40,916 students appeared in the examinations, including 6,22,074 regular candidates and 18,842 private candidates. The cohort included 3,28,652 boys and 3,12,264 girls.The AP SSC examinations were conducted from March 16 to April 1, 2026. Once the result date is formally announced, students are expected to be able to check scorecards through bse.ap.gov.in and related result portals using hall ticket credentials.Officials have already cautioned students and parents against relying on speculative reports regarding the result timeline. District education authorities were also instructed to prevent the spread of false information through WhatsApp groups and other online channels.Pass criteria and marks memo process remain unchangedStudents will need a minimum of 35 per cent in each subject, including theory and practical components separately where applicable, to qualify in the AP SSC examinations. Candidates not meeting the minimum requirement will be eligible for supplementary examinations after the main results are declared.After release of the result, students will be able to download provisional marks memos online. The digital document will carry subject-wise marks, grades, GPA and qualification status, while original certificates will be issued later through schools.Alternative access routes, including DigiLocker, the Mana Mitra WhatsApp service and the LEAP mobile application, are also expected to be available once results are published.Previous year figures remain in focusLast year, the AP SSC pass percentage stood at 81.14, with 4,98,585 students passing out of 6,14,459 candidates. Girls recorded 84.09 per cent against 78.31 per cent for boys, while Parvathipuram Manyam district registered the highest performance at 93.90 per cent.A total of 1,680 schools achieved 100 per cent results in the previous cycle. Broader pass percentage trends showed 81.41 per cent in 2025, compared with 86.69 in 2024, 72.26 in 2023 and 64.02 in 2022.Alongside the expected announcement tomorrow evening on the result date, students continue to await confirmation on when the AP SSC 2026 results themselves will be declared.
