Kalaburagi: The Kalaburagi Police Commissionerate saw radical improvement in several areas, including public service, citizen-friendliness, and professionalism. Considering all criteria, it received the ISO 9001 2015 certification. It is awarded for standards in quality management system and was mentioned by the minister for rural development and panchayat raj and Kalaburagi district minister Priyank Kharge, who congratulated every staff member. Minster Kharge was speaking at the Kalaburagi police commissioner’s office after distributing the certification to police commissioner Sharanappa SD. He said this certification showed it abided by international standards, but people’s appreciation will be available only when it became more people-friendly. He advised the police to work hard in this regard. He said that it was a matter of great joy that the Kalaburagi Police Commissionerate received an international-level certification.
