Mangaluru: A verbal clash over fish sales at the Santhekatte fish market in Kadaba village on Saturday escalated into a physical altercation between two shopkeepers, prompting police action after a video of the incident surfaced.Upon examining the video, Kadaba Police Station PSI Abhinandan M S found that a quarrel over fish sales between shopkeepers Raju Mathew and Adam led to a brawl in a public place. The investigation revealed that Raju Mathew, Adam, Fayaz, Rakshith, Mani, and Noufal were involved in the physical fight, causing a disturbance to public peace.In view of the public altercation and breach of peace, a case was registered against the five under Section 194(2) of BNS at the Kadaba Police Station. The investigation is ongoing.
