Bengaluru: A 58-year-old homemaker died after being hit by a BMTC electric bus in Hampinagar, Vijayanagar, Friday evening. The victim, identified as Mala S, a resident of Hampinagar, sustained severe head injuries when the bus, while entering the terminal around 6.30pm, knocked her down near the bus stand. She was rushed to a nearby private hospital but succumbed to her injuries.Following a complaint filed by her husband the police arrested the bus driver, Ramesh.
