Bengaluru: A 65-year-old farmer, his 11-year-old grandson and his sister-in-law were killed after a truck rammed their motorcycle near Huliyurdurga, Kunigal in Tumakuru district Tuesday afternoon.The deceased are Huchhappa, his grandson Preetam and Huchhappa’s sister-in-law, Ningamma, all from Ungri village. Huchhappa was riding triple to a relative’s house when the accident occurred around 4pm at Sugganahalli junction, a few kilometres away from their home. “The truck rammed them from the rear and mowed them down. The driver fled the scene leaving his vehicle behind,” a police officer said.
