Bengaluru: A BMTC electric bus conductor lost his balance and fell on the footboard of the bus. CCTV footage of the incident went viral across social media platforms Sunday.According to BMTC, conductor Veerabhadraswamy VR was issuing tickets to passengers when he lost his balance and fell. The driver had applied brakes suddenly to prevent collision with a car. Veerabhadraswamy, who works at Kannalli depot, sustained multiple injuries on his knee after he fell from the elevated platform of the bus. Passengers rushed to help the conductor and took him to Hosmat Hospital. A BMTC spokesperson told TOI the conductor was discharged two days later on Sept 5. He is currently on leave and recovering at home.
