Hubballi: The Railway Board has approved the extension of the periodicity of train Nos. 07355/07356 SSS Hubballi – Rameswaram – SSS Hubballi Weekly Express Special, with short-termination at Ramanathapuram instead of Rameswaram, due to operational constraints at Rameswaram. The train will continue to run with the existing composition, timings, and stoppages.Train No. 07355 SSS Hubballi – Rameswaram Weekly Express Special, earlier notified to run up to Sept 27, will now be extended from Oct 4 to 25 for four trips, with its destination curtailed to Ramanathapuram. Similarly, Train No. 07356 Rameswaram – SSS Hubballi Weekly Express Special, earlier notified up to Sept 28, will now run from Oct 5 to 26 for four trips, originating from Ramanathapuram instead of Rameswaram.Temporary Extension of Hubballi – Bengaluru Special To cater to the extra rush of passengers during the Dasara Festival at Mysuru, South Western Railway has decided to temporarily extend Train No. 07339/07340 SSS Hubballi – KSR Bengaluru – SSS Hubballi Special up to Chamarajanagar.Train No. 07339 SSS Hubballi – KSR Bengaluru Special will be extended to run up to Chamarajanagar from Sept 28 to Oct 4 for 7 trips. Train No. 07340 KSR Bengaluru – SSS Hubballi Special will originate from Chamarajanagar from Sept 29 to Oct 5 for 7 trips.There will be no change in timings between Hubballi – Yesvantpur – Hubballi. After Bengaluru, train No. 07339 will depart KSR Bengaluru at 7am and reach Chamarajanagar at 12.15pm. In the return direction, train No. 07340 will depart Chamarajanagar at 6.45pm and arrive at KSR Bengaluru at 11.45pm.In the extended portion, both trains will have stoppages at Kengeri, Ramanagara, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya, Pandavapura, Mysuru, Chamarajapuram, Ashokapuram, Kadakola, Tandavapura Halt, Sujatapuram Halt, and Nanjangud Town.The extension of this special service will provide direct connectivity between Hubballi, Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Chamarajanagar, thereby facilitating convenient travel for passengers visiting Mysuru during the Dasara festivities.
