Tourists attacked by driver in Karnataka's Nandimotte Junction, case registered

MADIKERI: A case was registered at the Madikeri Rural Police Station against the accused in connection with the attack on tourists at Nandimotte Junction near Mandalpatti.The police registered the FIR.On September 6, a family from Tamil Nadu came to Madikeri and went to Abbey Falls. They approached a driver, asking him to take them to Mandalpatti. When the family asked locals about the travel distance, the driver allegedly attacked one of the family members and behaved inappropriately with his wife. In this context, a case was registered under various sections, the police stated.
