Haryana HSSC CET Group D 2026 applications end today as registration window closes for eligible candidates statewide

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) is closing the online application process for the Common Eligibility Test (CET) Group D recruitment today, July 5, 2026. Eligible candidates who have not yet completed the registration process can submit their applications through the One Time Registration (OTR) portal before the deadline. The recruitment drive is being conducted under Advertisement No. 05/2026 for Group D posts in various Haryana Government departments.The HSSC released the Group D CET notification on June 18, 2026, while the online application window opened on June 19, 2026. The last date for submitting applications was later extended to July 5, 2026. The commission has indicated approximately 8,000 vacancies under the recruitment process. The CET serves as the eligibility examination for appointments to Group D posts in the state.Recruitment details and eligibilityThe recruitment is open to candidates who have passed Class 10. Applicants must be between 18 and 42 years of age, with July 6, 2026, serving as the cut-off date for determining age eligibility. Age relaxation will be applicable in accordance with prescribed government rules.The recruitment is Haryana-based and selection will be carried out through the CET process. The examination date will be announced separately by the commission.Application fee and selection processThe application fee is Rs 500 for General, OBC and EWS candidates, while applicants belonging to SC, ST and PH/PWD categories are required to pay Rs 250. Fees can be paid through the online mode. Although the application window closes today, candidates can deposit the application fee until July 8, 2026.The selection process consists of the HSSC CET Group D written examination, followed by document verification and a medical examination. The commission has also removed the earlier provision of additional marks based on socio-economic criteria. Selection will now depend solely on the candidate’s CET score.Application process and correction windowCandidates are required to visit the official HSSC website, complete the OTR process if not already registered, fill in the CET Group D application form, upload the necessary documents, pay the prescribed fee and submit the application online. A printout of the submitted form should be retained for future reference.After the application process concludes, HSSC will allow applicants to edit their submitted forms from July 9 to July 11, 2026, before announcing the examination schedule.
