Mandya: Karnataka govt’s guarantee schemes are benefiting all sections of society, including marginalised groups, said Dinesh Gooligowda, MLC and state vice-president of the Guarantee Schemes Implementation Authority. Speaking at a progress review meeting at Mandya ZP office, he said: “As promised during the elections by CM Siddaramaiah, deputy CM DK Shivakumar, AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, and Lok Sabha leader in the opposition Rahul Gandhi, the govt launched all five guarantee schemes soon after assuming office.” Under the leadership of authority chairman HM Revanna, the schemes are being effectively delivered to beneficiaries through MLAs and district committees. Rs 3,200 crore was allocated exclusively for Mandya, Gooligowda said, urging GPs to conduct awareness campaigns so every eligible households benefit.
