Mysuru: A localite from Udayagiri was stabbed to death early on Tuesday by a group. Mohammed Shahbaz of Ghousia Nagar, who was a fabricator by profession, was murdered in the locality. Mysuru city police formed three teams to crack the murder. Commissioner of police Seema Latkar said a murder case was taken up by Udayagiri police and an investigation was launched.According to jurisdiction police, the incident happened around 1am when Shabhaz was locking the autorickshaw stand. A group of five people stabbed him using weapons and fled the spot, police said. Shabhaz’s family accused Zuber and his accomplices of murdering him over a rivalry.The reason for stabbing appeared to be a dispute over collecting fare to park an auto at the stand, but cops are verifying the exact motive behind his murder.
