Despite significant spending, the efforts have been ineffective.Dr GB Sattur, a physician and diabetologist, warns that dust allergies can lead to chronic sinusitis and trigger asthma flare-ups. These conditions can significantly reduce quality of life, causing sleep disturbances, fatigue, and poor concentration. Medical attention should be sought if symptoms persist despite the use of antihistamines or nasal sprays, or if there is frequent wheezing, chest tightness, or asthma attacks.HDMC commissioner Rudresh Ghali said that due to continuous rain in the city, the use of sweeping machines was hampered. He already issued directions to all officials to ensure the cleaning of roads and to initiate measures to mitigate dust.
