Huligi celebrates 1st Tungabhadra aarti

Koppal: Tungabhadra Aarti was held with grandeur on Tuesday evening along the riverbank adjacent to Sri Huligemma Devi Temple in Huligi, a well-known religious site in Koppal district. Hindu religious endowments department, the district administration, and Sri Huligemma Devi Kshetra Development Authority organised the event overseen by 15 priests associated with Ganga Aarti. Vachanananda Swami of Panchamasali Jagadguru Peetha, Harihar, graced the occasion. Koppal district minister Shivraj Tangadagi, MP K Rajashekar Hitnal, MLA K Raghavendra Hitnal, MLC Hemalatha Nayak, and officials from the district administration and people’s representatives witnessed the event. Before the aarti, transport and muzrai minister Ramalinga Reddy offered ‘bagina’ to the TB river
