Bengaluru: The city’s second Amrit Bharat Express, which will run between SMVT Bengaluru and Alipurduar Junction in West Bengal, will start its commercial service Saturday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the special inaugural run of the service from Malda last week.The non air-conditioned train, running weekly, will consist of 22 coaches. Train number 16597 will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 8.50am every Saturday and reach Alipurduar Jn at 10.25am Monday. On the return journey, Train no. 16598 will leave Alipurduar Jn at 10.25pm every Monday and reach SMVT Bengaluru at 3am Thursday.
