BENGALURU: A total of 5.22kg of Ganja worth Rs 4 Lakh was recovered from Bengaluru Cantonment Railway Station by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Thursday.According to the RPF, an unclaimed bag was noticed at the station yard. On suspicion, they proceeded to check the bag and found bundles wrapped in plastic, following which excise officials were alerted.The excise officials who arrived at the spot confirmed that the bag contained Ganja approximately worth Rs 4,02,000. While the whereabouts of the traffickers are yet to be ascertained, a case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and further investigation is in progress.
