Mysuru: The body of balloon seller Saleem, who died in Thursday night’s hydrogen gas cylinder explosion, was taken to his birthplace in Kannauj district, Uttar Pradesh, on Saturday.According to Devaraja police, the body was transported in an ambulance around 11am after completing the legal procedures. Three of his associates, who were accompanying him while selling balloons, also left in the ambulance.According to sources, for the past few years, Saleem arrived in Mysuru city during Dasara with his associates, who are also his family members. They stayed in the city until the New Year in a low-budget lodge in Mandi Mohalla.The body is expected to reach his birthplace by Sunday evening, explained sources.
