Madikeri: The tourist hub of Madikeri was hit by a flood of visitors this Christmas and New Year season. The lodges in the city reported full occupancy. The flow of vehicular traffic was affected due to the influx of tourists in the town, leading to the traffic police to put in extra hours to manage the vehicular flow, mainly in the city centre. However, vehicles parked near Raja Seat were still stuck in the traffic jam.
