Tiger rescued with help of jumbos in Ch’nagar

Mysuru: A 4-year-old tiger was rescued with the help of three tamed elephants in Bommalapura village in Gundlupet taluk of Chamarajanagar district on Thursday.According to forest department authorities, this tiger, named Bandipur 26-GP5, was attacking cows in and around the village for the last few days. The authorities, who were tracking the tiger using camera traps and drones, captured it on Thursday early morning. Three elephants—Prashanth, Kanjan, and Masti—were part of the operation. Officials informed that the tiger is healthy.
