DK Cong member gets Delhi police notice

Mangaluru: Delhi police reportedly served a notice on KPCC general secretary Inayath Ali in connection with the investigation into the National Herald case. Delhi police issued notices to KPCC president and deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar and his brother DK Suresh on Friday. According to sources, officers from the Economic Offences Wing arrived at the residence of Inayath Ali in Surathkal and served the notice, asking him to appear in person within a week.The Enforcement Directorate and the income tax department served notices in 2016, asking him for details of the financial transactions in connection with the National Herald case. The notice issued to Ali a few days ago is a continuation of that process, sources said.
