Kalaburagi: Samvidhana Rakshana Samithi members held the “Bheemanade” march past on Monday in Chittapur town to counter an RSS march past that was held on Nov 16. The event began at 2.40pm instead of the scheduled 11.30am. Father of the Constitution Dr BR Ambedkar was praised, and slogans were raised in his honour. Men wearing khaki trousers, white shirts, and blue caps marched in disciplined formation around Chittapur city, accompanied by 600 women in total 100. People standing on both sides of the route offered a floral welcome. Thousands of people witnessed the event along the roadside. The march past started from Bajaj Convention Hall, passed Basaveshwar Circle, the Bus Stand and Tahshil Office, and concluded at Bajaj Convention Hall. The police provided tight security for the event.
