BENGALURU: A radiologist at a private scanning centre in Anekal has been booked for allegedly sexually harassing a woman during a routine medical scan.According to the complaint filed at Anekal police station, the accused, identified as Jayakumar, allegedly touched the woman inappropriately and behaved in a sexually explicit manner while conducting the scan. When she confronted him, he reportedly threatened her and used abusive language to silence her.The woman had visited the centre with her husband for an abdominal scan. Police said she managed to record portions of the incident on her mobile phone, which was later submitted as evidence.Despite the FIR, Jayakumar has not yet been arrested. Sources said he was summoned for inquiry but allowed to leave after questioning.The victim is currently undergoing treatment at Rajiv Gandhi Hospital in Bengaluru.
