Belagavi: The Annual Principals’ Conference of Rashtriya Military Schools (RMS) successfully concluded on Thursday at Rashtriya Military School, Belagavi after two days of intensive deliberations. The conference was held under the leadership of Lt Gen Ajay Ramdev, Director General Integrated Training (DG IT), and was attended by Maj Gen VK Bhat, Additional Director General Army Education and Head of Service. The general officers actively participated in the two-day meet, engaging with the principals to discuss various critical issues about the optimal functioning and strategic growth of these prestigious institutions. The general officer spearheaded discussions on vital agenda points aimed at exploring meaningful and viable solutions for the schools’ future, the release said. The five Rashtriya Military Schools—RMS Chail, RMS Ajmer, RMS Belagavi, RMS Bengaluru, and the youngest one, RMS Dholpur—were represented by their principals. The attendance of senior army leadership emphasised the army’s unwavering commitment to fostering the next generation of leaders through the exceptional education provided by RMSs.
