District ministers Shivanand Patil of Haveri, SS Mallikarjun of Davanagere, and D Sudhakar of Chitradurga, hoisted the national flag in their respective districts.In Haveri, Shivanand Patil pledged to develop a new Haveri in the coming years. He stated, “The Haveri Institute of Medical Sciences’ work is almost 95 per cent complete, and classes are running at the new building already. We called to set up an MRI and MCH hospital, and the dream will come soon. The water scarcity in summer will be solved because all drinking water projects will commence by December in the district.” He added that they are taking up the development of Hosamani Siddappa District Stadium, a Rs 10 crore project that will start soon. SS Mallikarjun, the district minister of Davanagere, asserted that the state govt has successfully implemented five guarantees and reached the intended beneficiariesIn Chitradurga, D Sudhakar unfurled the national flag and received a guard of honour from various platoons. All three districts witnessed impressive march-pasts by teams from the Karnataka Reserve Police, civil police, home guards, traffic police, NCC, Scouts & Guides, adding colour to the celebrations.
