Mysuru: Krishnaraja MLA TS Srivatsa of the BJP, on Sunday, said united efforts are needed from citizens to make Mysuru a clean city.Referring to Mysuru’s third rank in the Super Swachh League Cities category under Swachh Survekshan 2024-25, he said Mysuru can make it to the top provided the citizens lead the movement. Speaking after launching the cleanliness drive undertaken by Mysuru City Corporation in partnership with many organisations at Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple at the North Gate of the Mysuru Palace, he appealed to residents of Mysuru to make the cleanliness drive a success in the city.Residents must focus on segregating dry and wet waste separately and hand them over to the pourakarmikas during door-to-door collection. Srivatsa, along with 200 volunteers, took part in a cleanliness drive covering Balarama Gate, Dr Rajkumar Park, Dr Vishnuvardhan Park, Mysuru Palace, KR Circle, and surrounding areas.Mysuru BGS Apollo Hospital’s NG Bharatesh Reddy and NIE College deputy principal KC Manjunath were present.
