Mangaluru: Surathkal police arrested the prime accused in connection with the attempt to murder case of two youths near a bar in Kana under the Surathkal police station limits late Thursday night. City police commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy CH said that the accused was identified as Gururaj Acharya. With this, the total number of arrests in the case rose to 5.The arrests were made on charges of stabbing victim Nizam following a heated argument inside a bar. An altercation between the accused and the victims escalated, eventually leading to the stabbing, the commissioner said.
