Mysuru: The Lakshmipuram police in Mysuru city have registered an FIR against Rakesh Kishore, an advocate from Delhi, on charges of committing an offence against the Chief Justice of India on Oct 6 at the Supreme Court.The case was registered under Sections 132 and 133 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhitha. Mysuru advocate Punith approached the police on Saturday with a complaint against Rakesh Kishore. “Today, an FIR was registered,” he informed TOI.The act allegedly committed by accused Rakesh Kishore against the Chief Justice of India is not acceptable, and it is a punishable offence in accordance with the law, he stated in his complaint submitted to the police.First, the police informed that they would register an Non-Cognizable Report (NCR). Now, they have registered an FIR. It is the first FIR in connection with the incident in the district, Punith said.
