Mandya: Malavalli rural police arrested four individuals in connection with the murder of a 26-yr-old man, at a bar near Maganur Gate in Malavalli taluk on Aug 6.The victim, identified as Yogesh, son of Madhu, a resident of Gangamata Street in Malavalli town, was allegedly lured to the bar by a group of people. While he was consuming alcohol, an argument ensued, during which the assailants repeatedly stabbed him with a knife, resulting in his death on the spot, according to the police.Preliminary investigations revealed that the attack was a fallout of a previous altercation. A few months earlier, during a fight at another bar, Yogesh had allegedly broken the hand of another youth. A special police team was formed to track down the suspects, and on Aug 9, police apprehended the four on charges of murder, said Mallikarjun Baladandi, SP.
