The 1934 model Ford saloon car, which had an attractive design, was still running smoothly with its engine. The Ford car, was carefully preserved as a symbol of his father’s memory. Kore recently handed over this car to MLIRC Commandant Brigadier Joydip Mukherjee. Speaking on the occasion, Brigadier Mukherjee said, “This is a very old model rare Ford saloon car and is a valuable gift to our Heritage Regimental Centre. This vintage car will be added to the MLIRC collection and will remain a symbol of Kore’s memory.” Deputy Commandant Colonel VKB Patil and personnel of the Maratha Light Infantry were present on the occasion.
