Everyone should join hands to maintain a clean and beautiful environment by segregating household waste at the source and disposing it of via waste collection vehicles,” Bindal advised.She administered the cleanliness pledge and emphasised that proper segregation of household waste into dry and wet categories would facilitate byproduct creation, save manpower, and help maintain personal and societal health. “We should respect sanitation workers because they put in great effort to maintain cleanliness,” the IAS officer pointed out.On the occasion, sanitation workers, including the driver of the cleanliness vehicle, and village panchayat workers, were honoured. Zilla panchayat deputy secretary Puneet R., taluk panchayat EO, and others attended the programme.
