Mysuru: BJP MP Yaduveer Wadiyar on Wednesday called on the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to investigate all individuals implicated in the Muda scam. Speaking to reporters, the Mysore MP emphasised the need for a thorough probe into the alleged illegalities surrounding the allotment of sites by the Mysuru Urban Development Authority. Yaduveer pointed out that while former Muda commissioner GT Dinesh Kumar had been arrested in connection with the case, this action alone was insufficient. He urged the ED to expand its investigation to include all others involved in the scam. Echoing Yaduveer’s concerns, Krishnaraja MLA TS Srivatsa demanded that former Muda chairmen, commissioners and officers be probed and arrested if necessary. “Thousands of sites were allotted illegally. The investigation must be expanded,” he said, adding that the BJP’s fight against the MUDA scam will continue.
