Bengaluru’s Lalbagh Botanical Garden is in full bloom for its iconic Independence Day flower show. Now in its 218th edition, the show pays tribute to Karnataka’s valiant freedom fighters — Kittur Rani Chennamma, who defeated the British in the first battle of Kittur, and Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna, who was the army chief of the kingdom. The show is open to the public till August 18, between 6 am and 9 pm.
