Mangaluru: Uppinangady police arrested an accused who was reportedly absconding for 12 years. The accused is Imran Khan,36, a resident of Shivajinagar, Bengaluru. According to police, a case was filed against him at the Uppinangady police station under Sections 354(a) (sexual harassment), 354 (d) (stalking) of the IPC in 2013. The court issued a long pending case warrant against him. He was arrested on Sept13 from KG Halli, Bengaluru, and was produced before a court the next day, which remanded him in judicial custody.
