Mangaluru: Dharmasthala, a centre of devotion and faith for millions, serves as a model and an inspiring force for all religious centres. May it continue to grow and shine as an exceptional place, said Sri Sachidananda Bharati Swami of Edneer mutt, Kasaragod.He was speaking during a ‘Kshetra Raksha Yatra’ organised by Uppala Kondevoor Mutt pontiff Sri Yogananda Saraswati Swami, and Vinu Swami from Cheemeni in Kannur. After visiting Dharmasthala, they were honoured by D Harshendra Kumar at the Heggade residence in the presence of Hemavathi V Heggade.Later, in a sermon at the preaching hall, swami emphasised that the protection of religious centres is the responsibility of the devotees. He assured that if we walk the path of justice, ethics, and righteousness, then injustice, unrighteousness, and misinformation will surely be defeated. False propaganda and rumours spread by media are temporary, like an eclipse and should be ignored. He pledged that all are ready and wise to protect the sanctity of Dharmasthala, alongside Heggade.D Harshendra Kumar highlighted the inseparable relationship between Dharmasthala and Edneer mutt. He expressed special respect, affection, and trust towards Dharmasthala on behalf of the revered Swami, and offered heartfelt gratitude for the swami’s visit and blessings.
