NEW DELHI: CBI has filed an FIR and formed a special team to probe the death of Disha Salian, two weeks after Bombay HC ordered it to take over the case. The FIR has been filed under IPC sections covering offences such as gang rape, murder and destruction of evidence, etc.No one has been named as an accused in the case. But the FIR content, based on a complaint by Disha’s father Satish Salian, mentions several people, including Aditya Thackeray, Dino Morea and Rhea Chakraborty, saying their roles need to be probed.Disha, who worked as actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager, was found dead on June 8, 2020, after falling from the 14th floor of a residential building in Mumbai. A week later, Sushant was found dead at his Bandra flat.Satish Salian recorded his statement before CBI last week, and it was converted into the FIR on Sept 13.Aaditya Thackeray, Rhea Chakraborty & Dino Morea named In CBI FIRThe FIR alleges that the then chief minister, Uddhav Thackeray, father of Aaditya, and others also played a significant role in an alleged conspiracy and the subsequent cover-up.

It also alleges that some public servants and police officers need to be investigated for destruction or suppression of case papers, files and other public records, fabrication of official records, and misuse of public funds, manpower and police machinery for unlawful purposes and for shielding the offenders.The FIR claims: “The persons whose roles require investigation in connection with the commission of the principal offences, criminal conspiracy, subsequent creation and propagation of the false suicide story, and suppression, destruction and/or fabrication of evidence include Aaditya Thackeray, Rohan Roy, Dino Morea, Sooraj Pancholi, Aaditya Thackeray’s bodyguards, Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Sachin Vaze, Param Bir Singh, DCP Vishal Thakur, Uddhav Thackeray, Anil Deshmukh, API Ashok Devadhe, PI Jagdev Kalapad, PI Shailendra Nagarkar, PI Chimaji Adhav, PI Arjun Rajane, concerned officers of Malvani Police Station”.It also calls for the questioning of the autopsy and forensic officials besides several others, including the building’s security guards.
