At least 40 people were killed and eight others injured after an overcrowded passenger bus plunged into a deep roadside ravine in Pakistan‘s southwestern Balochistan province early Friday, officials said.The bus, carrying 48 passengers, was travelling from the provincial capital Quetta to the national capital Islamabad when it lost control and fell into the ravine in Dana Sar, a remote area near the border of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces, according to Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind and a rescue agency.This is a developing story.
