Kalaburagi: A woman and her daughter lost their lives after a bike collided with a tempo near Ummapura village in Basavakalyan taluk on Monday morning. The deceased are Tukkabai, 55, and Surekha, residents of Bhosga village. Surekha was killed on the spot after being hit by an oncoming tempo goods vehicle while riding her bike, while Tukkabai died at a hospital. A case has been registered at Basavakalyana Rural police station in connection with the case. Investigation is on.
