Mangaluru: A woman, who was running a flower stall at Bondel Circle for the past 13 years, attempted suicide on Friday after she was allegedly threatened by four individuals forcing her to vacate the shop.Mangaluru City police commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy said Shrinivas Krishnanagar, Pushparaj, Kiran Krishnanagar, and Santhosh threatened her and asked her to vacate the shop on Thursday. Stating that the flower shop was causing inconvenience to the autorickshaw parking, the accused threatened the woman using abusive language. Due to the mental agony and concerns about the future, the woman attempted suicide the next day, the commissioner said.The husband shifted the wife to a private hospital immediately, where she is being treated in the MICU. Based on a complaint, Kavoor police have registered a case under Section 352, 351 (2), 126 (2), and 3(5) of the BNS.
