The All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi has declared a notification for Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test-10 for the recruitment of nursing officers. The short notification for the same has been released on 13th February, 2026, with a total of over 3000 vacancies for the post of Nursing Officer (NO).The online application portal for the exam is expected to be opened from February 24, 2026. The applications are expected to stay open up to March 16, 2026. Eligible candidates must apply for the exam through the official website aiimsexams.ac.in.
AIIMS NORCET Important Dates and Examination Schedule
As per the official notification, the Stage-I test will be held on April 11, 2026. Candidates who qualify in this first test will appear for the Stage-II test on April 30, 2026. Such is the content of the notification on which the entire process of recruitment will depend.
The date on which the age limit will be calculated has been finalized as March 16, 2026.
Application fees and mode of payment
The application fee of the candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories is Rs 3000. Applicants from SC, ST, and EWS categories have to pay Rs 2400. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PH/PWD) are exempted from the payment of the application fee. The fee should be paid only in online mode.
Age limit & eligibility criteria
The candidates applying should be between 18 to 30 years of age as on the stipulated cutoff date. Age relaxation will be given as per the existing rules.B.Sc. Nursing candidates for educational qualifications. Alternatively, two years relevant experience along with the qualification of GNM is required to apply for the post of Nursing Officer.Selection procedure and vacancy detailsThe written test, document verification, and the medical fitness test are steps involved in the recruitment process.
