Gold futures traded higher on Wednesday as firm buying interest and strong investor participation lifted prices across multiple contracts on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).As of 15:09 PM, MCX gold futures showed gains across expiries. The April 2, 2026 contract traded at Rs 1,59,000 per 10 grams, up Rs 5,191 or 3.37 per cent. The June 5, 2026 contract was at Rs 1,62,855 per 10 grams, higher by Rs 5,383 or 3.42 per cent, while the August 5, 2026 contract traded at Rs 1,66,000 per 10 grams, up Rs 4,094 or 2.53 per cent.Here is how much gold costs in major Indian cities today:
