Taking note of the situation, the deputy mayor personally visited the spot, supervised the removal of the garbage, and ensured the area was cleared. To reinforce the message of cleanliness and responsibility, Joshi also planted a Tulsi sapling at the entrance of the school. “A school is a place that shapes the future of children and must be kept clean and dignified. It should never be allowed to turn into a dumping ground,” she said.Residents, parents, and school staff lauded the initiative, noting that the transformation of the school entrance improved both hygiene and the overall environment. The move was seen as a symbolic, yet meaningful step towards promoting cleanliness and safeguarding the well-being of children in the city.
